That didn’t take long.  

Within 24 hours we had multiple offers on our cute little house on the corner of 28th and Bella.  We notice more closely all the little things we’ll miss about this place.  The pretty pink plum tree where the yellow swing hangs, the lilac we salvaged from the original yard with it’s little purple buds ready to bloom, grandpa Orville next door, home just yesterday from Lake Havasu where he winters.

I imagine the couple buying this place are excited to move in.  I wonder if they drive by just to look.  They will be happy here.  We won’t mention the things we won’t miss 😉

Over Spring Break we took a road trip to Lake Havasu City, Arizona to see grandpa Orville.  It was a long drive and we weren’t acclimated to 95 degree temps, but it was nice seeing palm trees and cacti in bloom.  Orville allowed us to choose treasures from his collection.  Alice selected a cat playing an instrument.  After she pulled one side of its whiskers out, she chose another small animal statue, but within a minute she realized she did want the kitty, missing whiskers and all.  I love watching children make up their own minds, it’s awesome.

We joined Uncle Justin, Aunt Michelle, and Ashley in their Suburban for the drive.  It was a fun trip.  On the way home we stopped at Red Iguana in Salt Lake City…delicious Mexican!

Spring in Boise is glorious.

 

We are truly going to miss Boise.  But we really couldn’t be happier about our decision.  How lucky we are.
